Clean Jordan Lake's Adopt-a-Shoreline program

August 11, 2018

RSPS has joined Clean Jordan Lakes Adopt-a-Shoreline program to remove litter and trash from a segment of shoreline near the Ebenezer Ramps on Beaver Creek Rd.

RSPS's commitment to this project is at least six volunteers for three years. We plan to conduct our clean-ups in April, August, and December. Jim Frei has volunteered to coordinate RSPS's efforts. More information will be provided in future issues of the Bow Lights and the monthly meetings. We will meet at the south entrance to Ebenezer boat ramps off Beaver Creek Rd(the last driveway on the right before the bridge coming from US 64). You must wear closed-toe shoes, work gloves, and clothes that may get wet and muddy. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult guardian, and no one under 12 may participate. Waivers will be provided and signed at the event.

If you want to put your name on the list of potential litter-picker-uppers, call Jim Frei at 919-819-4229
