About the Server
Recreating memories & Nostalgia through authenticity, welcome to 2005scape/05x! We are a dedicated, non-profit 2005 server that focuses on a mindset similar to Lost City Project, with the goal of preservation and recreation of this specific timeline. This is a 349-revision-based game, which sets you at the date December 19th, 2005, with Devious Minds being the latest quest release. Our list of features, while not complete, is very vast for this timeline, unlike anything a 2005 game has accomplished yet. You can play on mobile, browser, OR the SwiftSwitch original game client revived by Akg himself. This server has excellent drop mechanics and offers many unique quests that I haven't seen elsewhere. It makes playing very rewarding and engaging!
The developers here are really cool and keep things interesting. You can tell they care about the game and the players.
This server feels incredibly unique. The developers are clearly skilled and actively listen to player suggestions, which makes it feel like home very quickly.
This server has an amazing bossing system and donating isn't necessary to enjoy the game. Any donations give a nice boost and are implemented very well. 10/10 experience.
This server is a blast, I'm having a really good time here. It's a nice and chilled atmosphere and I would definitely recommend it to others.
This place is amazing for skilling, I managed to max out my combat stats really quickly and am already working on my next one! The XP rates are fantastic and there's plenty to do.
Quests here are amazing, they added them without disrupting the old-school feel. It's a quality of life improvement that really makes the server stand out. I love everything about this place and I'm excited for future updates!
The dev team really listens! They implemented great suggestions like doubled loot in the Wilderness and new Prestige bonuses. It makes the gameplay feel so much more rewarding and exciting.
This server is definitely ambitious and has a lot of planned content, but some features like the bank tabs aren't working yet. It feels like it has potential, and I'm excited to see what they add.
This custom version is pretty interesting and keeps things fresh. Loving the unique take on the game here.
