This RuneScape private server project aims to meticulously reconstruct the experience of the classic RS2 era, merging the stability of older game builds with the richer content available in modern versions. It's not a simple 317 or a stock 614, nor a standard 718; instead, RS2BUILD utilizes a bespoke framework designed for enduring stability and efficient systems, paving the way for extensive long-term development. Currently in its early access phase, the focus is on establishing a robust foundation, with comprehensive PvM content and progression systems still under construction. At the heart of the game lies a completely reimagined Grand Exchange Hub, serving as the central social and economic nexus. This area has been thoughtfully redesigned, featuring unique NPC placements, custom object arrangements, interactive skilling stalls, convenient altars, strategic portals, and specialized shops, all while incorporating designated areas for future expansion. The entire hub is structured for efficiency, cleanliness, and an authentic RS2 feel. For those seeking player-versus-player action, RS2BUILD offers a custom Free-For-All arena that utilizes the innovative KeyLoot system. Participants earn KeyLoot points through combat, manage a personal key capacity, and unlock a variety of rewards by opening a custom chest. A fully functional save and load system ensures progress is maintained. This PvP arena is the main competitive focus during the early access period, as PvM encounters are temporarily offline while the entire drop table system undergoes a complete rebuild from the ground up.
