About Oldrune Oldrune is a custom 2004-inspired RuneScape server built around the feeling of early RuneScape: exploration, progression, danger, rare items, and community. The goal is not to completely reinvent the game, but to preserve the classic atmosphere while improving parts of the experience through carefully selected quality-of-life updates. Our Vision We want Oldrune to feel: authentic to the 2004 era, rewarding to grind, economy-focused, community-driven, and exciting long-term. Instead of filling the game with excessive customs, we focus on meaningful additions that still fit the oldschool world. To build a server that feels nostalgic, rewarding, and alive — where rare items matter, progression feels meaningful, and the community shapes the economy over time.
